Before my wedding season starts, I wanted to do a same-sex lifestyle session in Boston so I asked around for a gay couple and found Carlo and Jamie. They were such an adorable couple and I couldn’t have more fun photographing them. We met up by the Hatch Memorial Shell near Boston Common, which is where Earthfest was held annually. I was given a photo assignment by The Phoenix that that area along the Charles River was rated the best place for biking and running, so I got some photos of the area just right before Carlo and Jamie’s lifestyle session.
I really love the genuine expressions going on here in this photo. I don’t remember what I, or they, were talking, apparently it was something funny.
Carlo: “Despite the cold weather, we really had fun during this photoshoot. He and I were talking about the silliest things during the photoshoot and it all seemed natural.”
Jamie: “It all felt natural, as both of us talked about the most random things with lots of giggles and smiles.”
I love how much fun these guys had. I think Jamie was tickling Carlo in this one, ha.
Carlo: “This was my first ever photoshoot and I had tons of fun!”
