This past weekend I photographed Patrick and Roger’s same-sex engagement session at the Seaport District in Boston – a very special spot to them. They had their very first date there. I absolutely adore this place. Another reason why I love getting to know my couples is I get to know where their first date was and what they did, so when I need inspirations or my friends ask for suggestions, I can throw around some ideas :)
Enough about me, lets talk about Pat and Roger. They met online and coincidentally, they worked really close to each other at the time so they always got together during lunch break, which I think it’s super cute. They’ve been together for almost four years and I can’t be happier that they finally got engaged and are tying the knot this weekend. Yay for another legally (almost) married gay couple! Their whole engagement session lasted less than an hour but we had so much fun.
This was one of the few staircases we found that didn’t have a “private property” sign.
Fun fact: this staircase right here, is where Pat and Roger say goodbye to each other everyday after their lunch break since they used to work very close to each other.
This is actually a very nice place to hang out.Another fun fact: this bench holds a very special place in their hearts. Pat gave Roger his first birthday present since they started dating.
Some behind the scenes. This totally looks like we were chatting and that I was so far away from them. I was just telling Roger to cross his legs.
Much love you two. I’m super excited about your wedding and I can’t wait :)
