Commander’s Mansion Engagement Session: Lauren & Steve

I love documenting a time or moment that can not be re-captured once it passes or is missed. These are the photographs that even if you have all the money and resources, they can not be recreated. I’m really glad Lauren and Steve took the time out to do a session with me last week at the Commander’s Mansion, where they’ll be holding their wedding reception in August. They’re happily married and have a little one on her way. In fact, she is due exactly five weeks from today, woo-hoo!! Since they didn’t do an engagement session before their ceremony, this was the perfect time for it. Plus, Commander’s Mansion was a gorgeous venue and we’d take advantage of it.

Lauren and Steve are such a nice and loving couple. They totally complete each other. While we were in the car, Steve was driving and Lauren was the voice-activated GPS. Finding directions was not Steve’s strong suit (I bet I’m much worse), and Lauren knew exactly where to turn next. This is what a husband and wife are all about – they play to each other’s own strength and make a successful team together.

Much love you two. I can’t wait to see your little girl and your reception is going to be a blast.
