You know how you wake up in the morning, something unexpected just hits you; sometimes it’s a light bulb going off, or it could just be another one of those day with a crappy feeling. Today I did not only realize it’s Memorial Day (which explained why my sister was home instead of in school) but also the fact that exactly one year ago, I photographed one of my first engagement sessions on the Boston Common. Looking back at these photographs, I could not be more proud of how far I’ve came. Also, I’m especially thankful for Jehan and Nevan for having faith in me and being one of my first. It’s crazy thinking about it. One year doesn’t sound too long but it feels like an entire decade (in a good way). My business and I personally have grown so much that, a year ago, I didn’t even see myself where I am today. So thank you all for trusting me and being excited to work with me.
And I’m not going to forget thanking all the heroes who have sacrificed for the freedom of our country. Without you, we wouldn’t be standing here today and I probably wouldn’t be able to do what I love most – photography.
