Just about less than a month ago, I photographed Lisa and Steve’s engagement session at Brandeis University, let’s just say… it was a one-of-a-kind college campus. The dorm rooms were inside castles, it was unbelievable. They decided to have a medieval-themed wedding at Brandeis and I thought it was really awesome because they incorporated some medieval dance moves for their first dance. The day started off with the bride and groom getting ready and Jewish ceremony at Beth El Temple Center. The color-stained windows are so pretty we made use of the light shining through them. The shoes were pearl white and it looked like there was paint splashed on them – so cool. Without further ado, I’m very excited to show you some highlights of their wedding day.
Lisa, you look ridiculously gorgeous!!!
Bridal party!!! I love the bridesmaids dresses. Blue is my favorite color.
Sweet first look!
This was a giant curtain and it makes a pretty backdrop.
This was a private gathering for the Ketubah signing before ceremony started. They were signing while the bride and groom signed.
These DIY origami flowers are so cute. Guests loved them.
One of my favorite quotes from the toasts: “Ask not what your wife can do for you, but what you can do for your wife.”
Haha, Lisa seemed she enjoyed feeding her man.
First dance! I love how they incorporated some medieval dance movies.
No big deal, just Lisa looking fierce.
Aww, I love this moment here. It’s so sweet.
Lisa and Steve, it was such a pleasure getting to know you both. I could not feel more honored to be there and capture your memories. Also, big thanks to my second photographer David for helping out. I was so glad to have you.
