Last week I wrote a blog post about the pros and cons of having an outdoor wedding ceremony featuring some of the Christina and Dave’s images below. I’m so excited to share more photos of their wedding ceremony in Harvard Square, Cambridge. They’re one of my most favorite couples; I particularly adore their goofy expressions, fun and laid-back personalities. They decided to have their ceremony the day before their wedding and I’m so happy they did because we were able to spend more time doing formals and since nothing was rushed, everything was more relaxed. The ceremony itself took about 15 minutes and we did some family formals afterwards. The lighting could not be more perfect and we got to work with such a fabulous location their Justice of the Peace (see more about her below) picked out in advance.
I also photographed their engagement session in Harvard Square, which is now featured on Beantown Bride.
Her dress is totally gorgeous!
Haha, I’m loving the quirkiness here.
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Scher!
Big shout out to the incredible Justice of the Peace Denise Simmons, who is the former mayor of Cambridge. She scouted out this awesome location beforehand and worked with the photographer (in this case, me) to position the bride and groom that worked best for lighting.
These two are just so cute together.
Christina and Dave, I’m so thankful to be a part of your special day and it’s been an honor to get to know you both. Reception photos will be up on the blog very soon. Stay tuned!
