Every time I look at this set of images I can’t help but laugh at their goofiness and how much fun we had. Jenny and Ke have been together for three and a half years and finally decided to tie the knot after graduating from Harvard.
This building behind them was their dorm. It definitely brought back memory of them spending time in the common area playing pool. They still had a record of their scores there. Harvard Square is full of their memories. They live there together as well even though they both work in Cambridge.
Their engagement session was scheduled for the previous weekend, but cancelled due to weather. It started drizzling right as they walked. They weren’t worshiping Jesus or anything :p
They were engaged in November 2011 on a bridge in Harvard Square. Jenny recalled, it was a funny story. There were cars going by and the ambient noise was loud. When Ke got on his knees and popped the question, Jenny said “YES! thank you” and the only thing Ke heard was “thank you”. You can only imagine how confused he was.
A little rain didn’t stop us.
Ke was a break dancer and they decided to do some stunt (don’t try this at home, or anywhere, seriously!) Jenny made heart-shaped confetti and it was really fun throwing them up in the air; not so fun for the custodian (forgive us!). By the way, Jenny is a self-proclaimed queen of DIY, we’ll be seeing a lot of her fine work at her wedding in September, it’s one of the reasons why it’s going to be awesome.
It started pouring and we went inside the science building. The doors and hallways were quite colorful.
Many soon-to-be-brides/grooms get gym memberships so they look their best on their wedding day. Jenny and Ke are different. They practice aerobatics during their spear time. I think they’re getting ready for the next Olympics.
I love these two images. Somehow they’re different from the rest, maybe the lighting and/or white balance.
Much love you two. I can’t wait for your wedding next month.
