Shining Tides, Wedding by the Sea, was one of the most incredibly beautiful and romantic wedding venues I’ve ever photographed. Photographing Jess and Thilo was a breeze because they were such a gorgeous couple and they just worked really well in front of the camera, as if they were models. When I met with Jess and her mom, Cheryl, they were the nicest and sweetest people ever. I knew their wedding was going to be fabulous. We started off with ceremony at the Unitarian Memorial Church in Fairhaven. It was a very pretty church with big stained windows. There was a break between ceremony and reception so we were able to take family formals. When we got to the reception, which was at Shining Tides, it was so pretty that Jess said it was all she had imagined. One of the reasons why Jess and Thilo picked this venue was because they’re a part of the local YMCA and the profits from weddings and private events are donated to the YMCA scholarship funds. I think it was such a nice thing to do.
We discovered this hidden place inside the church with really pretty light so we had to do some portraits there.
Shining Tides, it overlooks the sea/beach and it was gorgeous.
Jess and Thilo, I had such a great time documenting your day and it was an honor to create these memories for you.
