Faneuil Hall is one of my favorite places to hang out, and I love doing engagement sessions there. It’s such a beautiful Boston landmark. Couples from out of town usually get excited about the things they only get to see here – the street performers, artists, stores, restaurants, and the famous Quincy Market. Jennifer and Lesley picked this location because they loved the restaurants. They both own and manage a restaurant of their own in Rhode Island. Lesley went to school at Northeastern in Boston so it wasn’t their first time here – woohoo Huskies! They’ll also be the caterer for the wedding so I can’t wait to see what they have in store. We first met up in front of Quincy Market in Faneuil Hall. My first impression was how cute Jennifer’s dress was and I loved Lesley’s dress shirt. They looked absolutely adorable together. The first photo above was literally one of the first few ones I had taken. You could just tell how comfortable they were with each other, which I loved! We only had the session for about 15 minutes because Jennifer and Lesley mostly wanted to sit down and have a drink, talk about their wedding-day logistics, and get to know each other a bit. It was so awesome to connect with them on a personal level. They seemed like a genuinely amazing couple. They found me through Jan and Justin’s Acoaxet Club wedding. They loved my natural and candid style, and I loved that they like this style. Jennifer and Lesley are the type of couple who’s easy-going and like to have a good time. They don’t like too many posed photos, or any stiffed poses, which isn’t my style anyway. I’m so excited to document their special day this October. I can tell it’s going to be an awesome fun wedding.
