I love mountain weddings. Paul and Sandrine’s wedding at the Mount Washington Resorts in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire was beyond gorgeous. The White Mountains backdrop was breathtaking. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know I’m a sucker for mountain weddings; and I’m totally obsessed with wedding blogs like Mountainside Bride.
We started the day with Sandrine and the bridesmaids getting ready in a suite in the Mount Washington Resorts. The resort was beautiful, both the outside and in. It was a bit of a drive from Boston but the view of the White Mountains was absolutely breathtaking even on the road. We decided to rent a house on Airbnb for the night and do a little exploring in New Hampshire the next day. We found a lot of camp sites and thought it would be so awesome to camp there, but we didn’t have the equipment with us so we’d have to come back another time. Sandrine and Paul’s wedding was absolutely beautiful. I was glad I got to be there to photograph it.
The wedding dress, the bouquets, and the shoes are total perfection! Seriously!

This wedding has the pretties flowers.
This wedding ceremony with the White Mountains as the backdrop is to die for.
The groomsmen are so dapper.
Don’t you love this backdrop? It’s the Mount Washington Resorts. It looks absolutely stunning… of course with this ultra good looking couple.
Sandrine and I are obsessed with the back of her dress. The lace details are beautiful.
I love love love these place cards on the cute little plants. They’re also little favors guests get to take home.
What was the most memorable moment of your wedding celebration?
Sandrine: It was definitely when I was walking down the aisle seeing Paul waiting for me at the altar surrounded by our families and friends. And of course us exchanging our vows.
Paul: Lighting it up on the dance floor with all my friends and family… and my stunning bride in her beautiful dress!
Funniest memory of the night?
Sandrine: Watching my new husband opening a champagne bottle with a sword at the reception.
Paul: Me “sabering” a champagne bottle with an antique french sword. It took a few swipes but worked in the end! Santé!
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Sandrine: My advice is to eat and have fun. It goes by so fast.
Paul: Just enjoy the big day and don’t sweat the details, your guests will only remember the big things.
Where are you going for honeymoon?
Sandrine: We went to San Francisco. It was awesome !
Paul: San Francisco/ Bay Area… The city, Wine Country and Monterey.
