When Catherine and Jeff asked to schedule their winter engagement session in December, I was worried it’d be snowy, but the weather turned out great. We decided to do the session at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. I had been to Salem a couple times for Halloween but never knew the museum was there. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was right in the middle of this little town. PEM had a lot of Asian art, there was a section dedicated to the history of Guang Zhou, which was the hometown of Catherine and mine – small world.
Catherine and Jeff were one of the kindest couples I had the opportunity to photograph. They were really easy to talk to and work with the whole time. I was really glad they chose the Peabody Essex Museum for their engagement session; being surrounded by beautiful art and not freezing ourselves off were the main reasons why we loved this museum so much.
I can’t wait for their wedding in March!
