What’s better than spending an afternoon in Boston and Cambridge with a fun and happy couple who are about the get married. Afsaneh and Hamed contacted me about photographing their Boston City Hall wedding but later decided that our time was better utilized by doing a pre-wedding bridal session at the Boston Public Garden and MIT in Cambridge. I’m a big fan of doing Boston Public Garden engagement sessions, or any other types of sessions there.
Boston Public Garden Wedding
If you ask me what are some of the most frequently requested locations for engagement sessions, they would be the Boston Common and Public Garden, for good reasons – they’re beautiful and convenient. Nothing beats taking a stroll and relaxing by the iconic bridge and swan boats in the heart of the city. Not to be biased but fall is definitely the best season to have a wedding or engagement session here, as very evidently presented in the images below.
Hamed was clearly making a funny face and Afsaneh was cracking up about it.
This bright orange tree is currently the most popular thing at the Public Garden. This is why I love fall in New England.
This reminds me of another fall wedding at the Boston Public Garden that I really loved. The changing leave colors and the smell of autumn all made it so magical.
MIT Campus and Stata Center
I’m very glad MIT is one of the remaining few places around Boston that has both indoor and outdoor areas and allow photography without a permit. What I really love about the MIT campus is the huge backyard and the Charles River across the street.
I had such a great time photographing Afsaneh and Hamed at the Boston Public Garden and the MIT campus. I absolutely love doing fall weddings and sessions.
